Exaba today showcased the ability of several of its Data Storage components to run seamlessly across multiple platforms.

"Currently, for one of our largest components the CI/CD system is configured to build on 12 platforms," stated Exaba's DevOps team lead.

At Exaba, we carefully consider the diverse needs of our users across various platforms. Each of our key markets has unique operating system requirements.

For instance, web developers working from home may prefer to use Exaba Object Store on Windows, macOS, or Linux. Some users even require support for 32-bit machines. Additionally, there is a significant community of FreeBSD users that we are committed to serving.

Each of the systems takes time and effort to support. The development team is split between Linux, MacOS and Windows on their development workstations, while the servers are a mix of systems compatible with Red Hat™ Enterprise Linux.

Exaba is always eager to hear from prospective storage customers to better understand their operating system requirements and preferences.
